Ultrasonic Testing

About ultrasonic testing in general:

The ultrasonic testing is a widespread analysing method. Depending on whether we test the escapes of pipelines, or an appliance, we can talk about leakiness testing, if we examine the wall thickness of pipelines or tanks we talk about layer-thickness examination.

Leakage diagnostics:

• Is cavitation present in the system?
• Does the valve body leak?

Layer-thickness examinations:

• Tanks
• Piping
• Gas and steam conduits
• The examination of the leakage and masonry of boiler fittings

The Kalkon Ltd. performs these examinations with CSi Sonicscan 7000 ultrasonic leakage testing device as well as with Cygnus 4 and Krautkramer 463-16-02 DM-3 ultrasonic wall thickness measuring equipment.
